Job summary

The MSS Group in Cardiff, Wales, is seeking a proactive Key Account Manager to develop and manage strategic client relationships, ensure contractual delivery, and consistently exceed client expectations.

You will oversee key accounts, contribute to financial performance, collaborate with senior leadership, mentor junior team members, and drive service improvements across site operations in hazardous and regulated environments.

Qualifications

• Experience in account management within a service-oriented industry.
• Water treatment industry experience would be desirable.
• Strong customer focus with proven relationship management skills.
• Financial acumen with a history of meeting budget and revenue targets.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and operational best practices.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Client Relationship Management: Manage and develop assigned key accounts to strengthen client relationships and meet contractual obligations.
• Financial Oversight: Oversee the P&L for assigned accounts, focusing on financial health and profitability.
• Operational Leadership: Ensure the effective delivery of services through daily management of site staff, meeting all commercial and financial targets.
• Client Meetings: Lead regular client meetings to maintain open communication, address issues, and align on project goals.
• Performance Monitoring: Track and report on operational and financial performance, providing updates to the Business Unit Lead and Senior Leadership.
