Job summary
The HBP Group is seeking an experienced IT Solutions Presales Engineer to join our Commercial team in the UK. You will bridge customer requirements with technical delivery, designing secure, scalable IT solutions and supporting the Sales team with technical expertise.
In this role you’ll engage from discovery through to project delivery, shaping proposals and roadmaps while ensuring an effortless customer experience and strong stakeholder engagement.
Qualifications
- Five years' experience in IT Presales or similar roles.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience engaging with senior business stakeholders.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into business outcomes.
- Strong documentation and solution design skills.
Responsibilities
- Design secure, scalable IT solutions aligned with customer goals.
- Conduct discovery workshops, technical audits and site surveys.
- Translate business requirements into practical technical designs.
- Support Sales with technical expertise during engagements.
- Produce solution designs, architecture docs and proposals.
- Lead technically throughout project delivery.
- Ensure operational readiness for support handovers.
- Foster trusted advisor relationships with customers.
- Identify opportunities to improve services and roadmaps.
