Job summary

MATALAN in the United Kingdom is seeking an IT Service Transition & Design Manager to lead end-to-end service transitions, from planning to go-live and early-life support, ensuring services are scalable and aligned with business goals.

You will shape operating and support models, run workshops, manage risks and dependencies, and work with technology, operations and suppliers to embed services into Business as Usual.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering complex service transitions in an enterprise environment.
• Strong knowledge of ITIL/ITSM and service design.
• Experience facilitating workshops and working with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end service transitions from planning to go-live and hypercare.
• Define operating and support models, SLAs and KPIs.
• Collaborate with technology, operations and suppliers to ensure smooth delivery.
• Drive ITSM best practices and continuous improvement across services.
• Shape service design and ensure services are fit for purpose.
