Job summary

pladis Foods Limited is seeking an experienced IT Service Transition Manager to lead end-to-end transitions of IT services across multiple regions from our London hub. You will ensure operational readiness, robust service wrappers, and strong governance across projects and suppliers.

The role requires expertise in ITSM, incident/problem/change management, and release readiness, with the ability to align suppliers and internal teams to common standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in IT Service Transition, ITSM or Service Delivery in a global organisation.
• Strong knowledge of Incident, Problem, Change and Service Level Management.
• Experience defining service acceptance and operational readiness criteria.
• Experience transitioning services into BAU with project/delivery teams.
• Understanding of release and deployment practices and operational impacts.
• Experience with AMS providers and Service Desk outsourcing models.
• Ability to influence stakeholders with clear governance and communication.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end service transition process for new services and significant changes.
• Ensure transitions meet Service Acceptance Criteria and include full service wrapper.
• Validate support model, processes, runbooks, and knowledge articles.
• Oversee ITSM process effectiveness across regions and drive standardisation.
• Collaborate with Change Enablement and Release Management for risk assessment and validation.
• Act as transition liaison between internal teams and external providers.
• Lead service review framework and drive continual improvement.
