Job summary

BDO in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced HR Adviser to deliver proactive HR support within Central Operations. You will work with managers and employees to provide practical people solutions and ensure governance frameworks are applied consistently across the function.

The role emphasizes employee relations, coaching, and delivering cyclical HR processes, while using data insights to drive improvements and ensure a positive colleague experience.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an HR Adviser or equivalent generalist HR role.
• Experience in a professional services environment is useful but not essential.
• Proven experience building effective relationships with internal client base.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive and commercially focused HR support across Central Operations.
• Coach managers on people matters and ensure compliant HR processes.
• Deliver employee relations support including absence, probation and performance cases.
• Support performance management, talent reviews and annual people activities.
• Analyse people data to inform decision-making and drive continuous improvement.
