Job summary

BDO is seeking a capable HR professional to provide commercially focused support across Central Operations. You will partner with leaders to deliver people solutions for ~900 colleagues, build trusted relationships, and coach managers on employee matters in a governance‑driven environment.

You’ll lead on employee relations, ensure compliant HR policies, and drive strategic People Plan initiatives while delivering day‑to‑day activities and cyclical processes with a proactive, collaborative

Qualifications

• Significant experience operating in a generalist HR role.
• Experience in a professional services or fast-paced environment.
• Proven experience managing employee relations cases independently.
• Strong coaching and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence managers at varying levels.
• Sound knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Experience leading cyclical HR processes and people initiatives.
• Strong analytical capability and ability to translate data into insights.
• CIPD Level 5 qualification or working towards.

Responsibilities

• Provide commercially focused HR support across Central Operations.
• Partner with leaders and managers to deliver effective people solutions for around 900 colleagues.
• Build stakeholder relationships and act as a trusted advisor on people matters.
• Coach managers to handle employee issues confidently and ensure governance standards.
