BDO in the United Kingdom is seeking an HR Adviser to provide proactive, commercially focused HR support across Central Operations. You'll partner with managers and employees to deliver practical people solutions and build strong stakeholder relationships.

The role involves advising on absence, probation and performance cases, ensuring policy compliance, and supporting governance and standardised processes.

Qualifikationen

• Previous experience in an HR Adviser or equivalent generalist HR role.
• Experience within a professional services environment useful but not essential.
• Proven experience of building effective relationships with internal client base with strong stakeholder management skills.
• Experience supporting employee relations matters including absence, probation and performance cases.
• Knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
• Experience supporting cyclical HR processes.
• Strong analytical and reporting capability.
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• CIPD Level 5 qualification or working towards.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Sound judgement and discretion when dealing with confidential employee matters.
• A proactive and solutions-focused approach.
• Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple activities and deadlines simultaneously.
• A collaborative and team-oriented approach to working.

• Provide proactive and commercially focused HR support across Central Operations.
• Partner with managers and employees to deliver practical people solutions.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships and offer responsive HR advice.
• Coach managers on people matters; collaborate with the People & Culture team to create a positive colleague experience.
• Support absence, performance, conduct, wellbeing and probation cases.
• Deliver operational HR processes: performance management, promotion rounds, talent reviews.
• Ensure policies and governance frameworks are applied consistently.
• Analyse trends using people data to support decision-making.
• Contribute to projects to improve process efficiency and governance.
