Job summary

Lancashire Renewables Ltd is seeking an experienced HR & Learning and Development Manager to join the Senior Leadership Team on a fixed-term basis. You will lead HR and L&D, strengthening leadership capability and driving a high-performing culture.

The role balances strategic oversight with hands-on support on site across our Lancashire operations. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will shape people strategies and develop our people to enable growth.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a senior HR management role.
• Strong employee relations expertise and knowledge of employment law.
• Experience coaching and developing managers at all levels.
• Proven track record delivering people initiatives improving performance.
• Experience influencing senior leaders and balancing strategic vs. operational HR.
• CIPD Level 7 qualification or Level 5 with substantial management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR and Learning & Development as a Senior Leadership Team member.
• Develop and deliver HR strategies aligned to objectives.
• Drive leadership and management development across the organisation.
• Coach managers to build capability and accountability.
• Lead on complex employee relations matters and provide HR advice.
• Support organisational change and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Oversee recruitment, talent management, succession planning and engagement.
• Lead and develop the HR and L&D team.
• Use data and insights to support decision-making.
• Build relationships with managers, employees, unions, and external partners.
