Job summary

Templewood Recruitment Ltd, on behalf of a Not-for-Profit client in the UK, seeks a Senior HR Advisor to lead the HR function with the General Manager. You will manage the full employee lifecycle, drive high-performance culture, and lead recruitment campaigns and change initiatives.

You will support managers, ensure compliant HR policies, and work with senior leaders to build capability and workforce planning. CIPD Level 5 and strong UK employment law knowledge are preferred.

Qualifications

• Standalone HR advisory experience.
• Full recruitment lifecycle across multiple vacancies.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law.
• Experience supporting organisational change.
• Experience delivering training and learning initiatives.
• Excellent stakeholder management and coaching.
• CIPD Level 5 or equivalent.
• Experience in regulated housing/healthcare or similar sector desirable.
• Experience implementing HR systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead organisational change, restructuring and transformation initiatives.
• Provide practical HR advice on employee relations, performance management, absence, wellbeing and capability.
• Develop and deliver workforce planning, succession planning and talent acquisition strategies.
• Design and coordinate learning and development programmes aligned to organisational objectives.
• Lead end-to-end recruitment, including advertising, sourcing, interviewing and onboarding.
• Review and improve HR policies, procedures and employment documentation.
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation and HR best practice.
• Maintain accurate HR records, reporting and workforce metrics.
• Support employee engagement initiatives and help develop a positive culture.
• Collaborate with senior leaders to build management capability and improve performance.
