Job summary

Shape People partner with an ambitious Not-for-Profit organisation undergoing transformation. They seek a Senior HR Advisor to work alongside the General Manager, delivering expert HR operations, L&D and workforce capability in a standalone capacity.

You will lead recruitment across multiple vacancies, develop HR policies, support managers through change, and ensure compliant, practical people practices while driving a high-performance culture.

Qualifications

• Proven standalone HR advisory experience.
• Extensive recruitment lifecycle experience across multiple vacancies.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Experience supporting organisational change, transformation or service improvement programmes.
• Experience developing and delivering training and learning initiatives.
• Excellent stakeholder management and coaching skills.
• Ideally, experience supporting HR projects.
• Confidence to work independently while influencing senior managers.
• Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the organisation's HR function in a standalone capacity.
• Support recruitment campaigns, job advertising, sourcing, interviewing and onboarding.
• Develop and embed HR policies, procedures and employment documentation.
• Partner with managers to provide practical HR advice on employee relations and performance.
• Design and coordinate learning and development aligned to organisational objectives.
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation and HR best practice.
• Maintain accurate HR records, reporting and workforce metrics.
• Support employee engagement initiatives and help foster a positive culture.
• Work with senior leaders to build management capability and improve performance.
