Job summary

Rochdale Council is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join the HR Strategy & Advice team. You will provide professional HR advice across employee relations, reward and workforce matters, supporting managers with complex employment issues and change initiatives.

With CIPD membership (or equivalent HR experience), you will manage complex casework and collaborate with unions to deliver People Strategy priorities effectively.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of employment and equalities legislation.
• Experience advising managers on conduct, capability, grievance and sickness issues.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to provide pragmatic, solution-focused advice.
• Experience working with managers, employees and trade unions.

Responsibilities
