Right Match Recruitment Group Limited is actively recruiting an experienced HR Advisor for a full-time, permanent role based in Ashford, Kent. You will provide high-quality HR guidance to managers, handling employee relations matters with confidence, fairness and consistency.

You will manage absence and performance issues, disciplinaries, grievances and flexible working requests, ensuring compliance with employment law and best practice while supporting business objectives and values.

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 5 qualified or working towards it, or equivalent HR advisory experience.
• Proven experience advising on complex employee relations cases.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practice.
• Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication, with professional HR documentation.

Responsibilities

• Act as a first point of contact for managers seeking HR advice on employee relations matters.
• Support managers with sickness absence, investigations, disciplinary and grievance matters, capability and performance management, whistle-blowing and flexible working requests.
• Provide guidance around suspension processes.
• Support formal meetings and hearings, including producing accurate and confidential notes.
• Build relationships with trade union representatives.
• Draft clear and professional correspondence and case documentation.
• Monitor sickness absence and advise on next steps.
• Support occupational health referrals and follow-up actions.
• Deliver training and coaching to managers and leaders on HR processes.
• Contribute to HR policy improvements and participate in broader HR initiatives.
