Job summary

Lanes Group is seeking an HR Advisor to provide professional, proactive HR advice and support to managers and staff across the business. The role covers employee relations, absence management, recruitment onboarding, HR operations and compliance with UK employment legislation.

You will maintain records, support onboarding, manage documentation, and contribute to health and wellbeing initiatives while ensuring data confidentiality and accurate reporting.

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 3 qualification is required.
• CIPD Level 5 is desirable.
• Experience using HRIS and Office 365 is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with managers and employees to provide expert, legally compliant people management guidance.
• Advise on employee relations matters including disciplinary, grievance, capability, absence, probation and flexible working policies.
• Provide coaching on performance management and implement PIPs when required.
• Attend formal meetings, take notes and ensure documentation complies with policies and UK law.
• Manage employee relations cases through to resolution while minimising risk.
