Job summary

HR GO Recruitment’s Ramsgate client is seeking an experienced HR Officer - Employee Relations to join the team on a temporary basis with a view to permanent. You will own complex casework, advise managers and support strategic HR objectives in a Kent-based environment.

The role involves managing disciplinary, grievance, capability and absence cases, conducting investigations, and providing legally sound guidance on employment law. Flexible approach and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

  • CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent.
  • Significant experience managing complex Employee Relations cases.
  • Strong knowledge of UK employment law.
  • Experience conducting workplace investigations.
  • Excellent communication, judgement and influencing skills.

Responsibilities

  • Managing complex disciplinary, grievance, capability and absence cases.
  • Conducting workplace investigations and producing high-quality reports.
  • Providing practical, legally sound HR advice to managers and senior leaders.
  • Supporting employment tribunal cases and ACAS early conciliation.
  • Advising on employment law, equality and workplace adjustments.
  • Reviewing and developing HR policies and procedures.
  • Coaching and supporting managers to confidently handle people issues.
