Job summary

Jobtailor in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced HR Advisor with a strong background in employee relations to lead investigations, grievances and disciplinary cases. You will drive restructures, interpret data, and mentor junior HR staff across regional teams.

You will partner with stakeholders to support business objectives, attend biannual regional meetings, and cover the HR Advisor team leader role during leave while delivering wellbeing support and HR training.

Qualifications

• 3+ years HR Advisor experience advising on employee relations and applying employment legislation.
• Experience running ER cases including disciplinaries, absence management, grievances and capability processes.
• Experience advising on restructures and redundancy processes.
• Strong UK employment law knowledge.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
• Experience building relationships with stakeholders and interpreting data.

Responsibilities

• Provide employee-relations support for investigations, formal grievances and disciplinary cases.
• Lead major restructures and advise on TUPE where applicable.
• Review people data and partner with regions on ER topics to support business objectives.
• Attend regional meetings twice a year and mentor HR Advisors.
• Provide wellbeing support and deliver training sessions to HR team and wider business.
• Support litigation cases and case administration, mainly appeals.
• Cover HR Advisor team leader role during annual leave and provide escalation point for queries.
• Identify improvements within HR and upskill managers on best practices.
