Job summary

WRU Group is seeking a Group Event and Projects Manager to plan and deliver major events at Principality Stadium, Cardiff. This fixed-term role supports the Head of Event Sales and Operations and works with Event Owners, promoters and contractors to deliver a safe, high-quality venue experience.

You will coordinate event documentation, manage budgets and lead cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of international fixtures, concerts and community events.

Qualifications

• Experience in high-profile, multi-purpose venues.
• Strong planning and coordination of live sporting or entertainment events.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Experience working with internal teams, external stakeholders and contractors.
• Solid understanding of health and safety requirements (Green Guide/Purple Guide).

Responsibilities

• Support the Head of Event Sales and Operations in delivering the stadium’s event strategy.
• Develop relationships with Event Owners, partners and contractors.
• Create bespoke Event Management Plans and documentation.
• Coordinate resources, budgets and event-day operations.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety and budgets are maintained.
