Cardiff Council is building a skilled and experienced team to deliver UEFA EURO 2028 and is seeking a Senior Manager, Event Site Production to lead the planning and delivery of production and site management across official tournament sites and city centre event locations.
This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in one of the largest sporting events ever hosted in Wales and help create a lasting legacy for Cardiff and its communities.
Working closely with the Project Lead, EURO 2028 delivery team, statutory partners and key stakeholders, you will lead the development and delivery of detailed production plans, site schedules, build and break programmes and operational readiness arrangements.
You will oversee the appointment and management of production suppliers, contractors and specialist event teams, coordinating the delivery of temporary infrastructure and services including structures, staging, power, lighting, fencing, branding, broadcast and crowd management infrastructure. You will ensure sites are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with legislative, regulatory and Council requirements.
We are looking for an experienced and highly organised event production professional with a strong track record of delivering complex, large scale events, site operations or temporary event infrastructure.
You will have proven experience of leading production planning and delivery across multiple sites, managing suppliers and contractors, and coordinating complex operational activity within challenging timescales.
