Job summary

State Street is seeking a proactive Front Office Trading Services professional for the London-based VP role, supporting Execution, Financing and Clearing as part of the EFC function. This position involves close collaboration with Client Management and Sales & Trading teams, with in-office presence required to deliver effective operational support.

You will engage across global desks, drive issue resolution, and contribute to strategic initiatives affecting trading workflows and data quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.
• 12+ years in financial services with exposure to equity swaps.
• Client-facing experience is preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operational lifecycle from settlement to maturity and related actions.
• Check financing rates, spreads, and swap economics against terms.
• Coordinate between Front Office and Operations; monitor daily processes.
• Monitor Traiana trade activity and ensure correct book details.
• Respond to client, broker, and internal inquiries on trade affirmations and settlements.
• Perform data reconciliations and quality reviews on trade records.
• Produce client and management reporting on financing activity and collateral.
• Provide intraday/overnight position information and flag anomalies.
• Support Prime Physical and Prime Swaps processes; participate in change programs.
• Identify workflows improvements with Technology, Operations, Risk, and Compliance.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Adhere to controls, policies, and regulatory requirements.
