Job summary

State Street in London is seeking a Front Office Trading Services professional at VP level to support Agency Lending across execution, financing and clearing. You will partner with trading desks, client management and operations to ensure timely settlement, accurate processing and strong client service.

The role requires in-office presence with opportunities to engage in strategic initiatives, governance forums and performance improvements within the Markets unit.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• 12+ financial services industry experience or exposure to secure lending or prime services
• Client-facing experience is preferred but not required
• Excellent communication and relationship skills

Responsibilities

• Support Agency Lending trading desks across the lifecycle of securities lending transactions
• Manage daily front-office support activities and contract changes
• Investigate and resolve trade discrepancies and settlement issues
• Escalate and resolve breaks, recalls, and other operational exceptions
• Monitor loan activity around market events and regulatory requirements
• Oversee loan recalls, amendments, and inventory adjustments to meet client liquidity needs
• Review loan fee, rebate, and reclaim rate discrepancies with counterparties
• Assist with broker onboarding and onboarding processes to ensure trading readiness
• Produce and maintain key reports and data quality controls for Agency Lending
