Job summary

Rogers McHugh in Altrincham seeks an experienced FM Operations Manager to own the hard-services FM division. The role offers accountability for delivery, safety, performance and growth, with a £65,000 salary plus package and significant development opportunities.

The successful candidate will drive client relationships, bid activity and service improvements, overseeing engineering teams and a proactive helpdesk, with weekly leadership reviews and a focus on KPIs and CAFM systems.

Qualifications

Energetic, self-driven and ambitious.
Experience within hard FM services, ideally from a contractor background.
Commercially strong with ability to deliver margins while maintaining service quality.
Ability to bring existing relationships and demonstrate a successful track record in work winning.
Excellent communicator with proven client-facing experience.
Skilled in managing KPIs, SLAs and CAFM systems.
Knowledgeable in Health & Safety legislation and best practice.
Experience in leading, coaching and developing operational teams, including engineers.

Responsibilities

Full accountability for FM service delivery, including health & safety, performance and commercial outcomes.
Ensure services meet or exceed KPIs, SLAs and compliance standards.
Oversee and refine internal FM processes, procedures and best-practice frameworks.
Lead growth of the FM division through enhanced performance and client value.
Leverage network to win work and expand the client base.
Manage business development activities, including PQQs and bid submissions.
Act as key point of contact for FM clients and nurture long-term relationships.
Engage with clients to identify improvements and embed innovation in service delivery.
Manage operations, commercial, helpdesk and engineering teams; run regular reviews.
