Job summary

Driveway Vehicle Solutions seeks a Maintenance Controller to join the Operations team in a hybrid capacity. You will oversee proactive maintenance events, control costs, and ensure repairs are completed efficiently to minimise downtime for our fleet.

The role requires good motor trade knowledge, strong communication with dealers and suppliers, and the ability to manage repairs within set SLAs. A background in vehicle mechanics is desirable.

Qualifications

• Computer literacy and ability to communicate between team members, customers and suppliers.
• Minimum of 5 Year Workshop Experience or Level 2 NVQ/City & Guild Equivalent in Motor Vehicle Mechanics is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proactive management of all service maintenance and repair events.
• Manage costs associated with Service, Maintenance & Repairs.
• Monitor supplier breakdown portal for unplanned SMR events and close out.
• Track trend types to support commercial decision-making.
• Chase vehicles using 1link system and authorize work with set SLAs.
