The role combines desk-based account management with field visits to nurture relationships, drive cross-selling, and maximize margin on contracts while collaborating with Strategic Account Managers on larger bids.

Qualifications

• Prior sales experience in enterprise accounts is essential.
• UK driving license is required.
• Understanding of fire and security solutions offered by Johnson Controls is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with stakeholders.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to own tasks and escalate where necessary.
• Ability to work to targets and deliver results.
• Proficient in Salesforce and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of key account customers predominantly within the banking and finance vertical.
• Identify and implement growth strategies to increase installation and service revenue, cross-sell, and maximise margins.
• Manage pipeline and sales opportunities effectively.
• Conduct field visits to nurture relationships with named accounts.
• Collaborate with Strategic Account Managers on larger accounts and bids.
• Monitor account performance and prepare KPI reports for customers.
• Network internally to build support across departments.
• Pursue new business opportunities leveraging existing relationships and insights.
• Stay informed about industry trends and Johnson Controls product offerings.
