Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking an environmental construction consultant delivery lead to guide post-consent and secondary consents delivery across major infrastructure projects. You will lead a cross-disciplinary team, ensure compliance with licences and conditions, and align environmental commitments with project programmes.

You will shape decision-making, provide clear advice to clients and project teams, and drive a scalable delivery capability within a growing environmental management

Qualifications

• Experience in pre-construction and construction environmental management and delivery.
• Familiar with secondary consents and DCO/TCPA implementation.
• Ability to translate consent requirements into delivery actions.
• Experience coordinating multi-disciplinary teams in major infra projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead post-consent and secondary consents delivery across major infra projects.
• Provide technical leadership and consistent delivery approach.
• Develop governance, reporting and assurance for environmental commitments.
• Forecast resources and integrate secondary consent activities into programmes.
• Mentor junior staff and promote safe, high-quality delivery.
