Job summary

Zachary Daniels in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Employee Relations Advisor to join the People team. You will provide expert guidance on investigations, disciplinary and grievances, and absence management to managers and leaders.

Working closely with stakeholders, you will ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policy while coaching managers to handle people issues confidently.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Employee Relations Advisor, HR Advisor or ER Specialist.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and ER best practices.
• CIPD qualification or working towards is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of ER matters from initial advice to resolution.
• Support managers with disciplinary, grievance, capability and absence processes.
• Provide practical, business‑focused guidance on employment law and HR best practices.
• Coach and upskill managers to improve confidence in handling people issues.
• Support investigations, hearings and appeals when required.
• Identify trends and work with the People team to implement solutions.
• Build strong relationships with managers and stakeholders across the business.
• Ensure a fair and consistent approach to ER matters.
