Job summary

Zachary Daniels is seeking an Employee Relations Advisor to join their People team in the United Kingdom. The role focuses on delivering expert support across employee relations, advising managers on investigations, disciplinary and grievance cases, absence management and performance concerns, while ensuring compliance with legislation and policy.

The successful candidate will coach leaders to manage people issues consistently, build strong stakeholder relationships, and promote best practice

Qualifications

• Experience in an Employee Relations/HR advisory or ER specialist role.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and ER best practice.
• Experience handling a broad range of ER cases in a fast-paced environment.
• Confident stakeholder management with the ability to influence constructively.
• Pragmatic, solutions-focused approach with strong commercial awareness.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of employee relations matters from initial advice to resolution.
• Support managers with disciplinary, grievance, capability and absence management processes.
• Provide practical, commercially focused guidance on employment law and HR best practice.
• Coach and upskill managers to improve confidence in managing people matters.
• Support investigations, hearings and appeals where required.
• Identify trends and work with the People team to implement solutions.
• Build strong relationships with managers and stakeholders across the business.
