Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking an experienced Ecology Resource Manager to embed resource management across the Nature Services Business Unit in Glasgow, balancing demand and capacity to support strategic decision-making.

You will partner with senior stakeholders to optimise resource allocation, drive data-driven recommendations, and help grow capability across UK and India teams while ensuring excellent client service.

Qualifications

Significant experience in resource management and workforce planning.
Experience partnering with managers and senior stakeholders to solve complex business challenges.
Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail and data accuracy.
Ability to interpret workforce data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
Outstanding relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Resource Planning & Optimisation across the Nature Services Business Unit.
Monitor workload, utilisation and resource demand for optimal deployment of talent.
Support resource levelling across UK and India-based teams.
Deliver resource optimisation initiatives to support business performance and client outcomes.
Contribute to governance and development of resource management processes and tools.
Support bids, proposals and new business opportunities with staffing plans.
