Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking an Ecology Resource Manager to embed resource management best practice and balance workforce demand across a diverse project portfolio. You will act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, using data, commercial insight and strong relationships to inform resourcing decisions.

The role focuses on strategic workforce planning, resource optimisation and growth across the Nature Services Business Unit, with opportunities to shape capability strategies and support

Qualifications

• Experience in resource management, workforce planning or project resourcing.
• Ability to partner with managers and senior stakeholders to solve business challenges.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Ability to translate workforce data into actionable recommendations.
• Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive resource planning & optimisation across the Nature Services Business Unit.
• Monitor workload, utilisation and demand to optimise deployment of talent.
• Support planning across UK and India-based teams.
• Deliver resource optimisation initiatives to support performance and client outcomes.
• Develop and governance of resource management processes and tools.
• Provide insights on capability gaps and succession planning.
• Support short, medium and long-term workforce planning activities.
