Job summary

WSP in the United Kingdom seeks an Ecology Resource Planning Lead to shape resource strategy across our Nature Services Business Unit and deploy talent where it will have the greatest impact on projects.

Reporting to the Resource Manager, you will influence senior leaders, translate workforce insights into strategic plans, balance utilisation with development, and drive a people-first approach to workforce planning for sustainable growth.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in resource management or strategic resourcing.
• Experience partnering with senior stakeholders in a complex, matrix environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead workforce planning and resource optimisation initiatives across the Nature Services unit.
• Balance utilisation, financial performance, project delivery requirements and people development objectives.
• Drive resource agility across teams to meet business needs.
• Monitor resource supply and demand for proactive planning and informed decisions.
• Build strong relationships with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.
• Advise on resourcing strategy, capability planning and workforce development.
