Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking an Ecology Resource Manager to shape our nature services delivery in Cardiff and beyond. You will partner with senior leaders to optimise resource allocation across a diverse project portfolio, balancing capacity with demand and supporting employee development.

You will embed resource management best practice, analyse workforce data, and provide commercial insight to influence strategic decisions that drive project delivery and client outcomes while upskilling

Qualifications

• Significant experience in resource management, workforce planning or project resourcing.
• Experience partnering with managers and senior stakeholders to solve complex business challenges.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Ability to interpret workforce data and translate insights into recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Resource Planning & Optimisation across the Nature Services Business Unit.
• Monitor workload, utilisation and resource demand to ensure optimal deployment.
• Support resource levelling across UK and India-based teams.
• Deliver resource optimisation initiatives to support performance and client outcomes.
• Develop resource management processes, tools and governance.
• Strategic Workforce Planning with insights on capability gaps and succession.
