Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is recruiting an Ecology Resource Manager to shape strategic workforce decisions, optimise resource allocation, and partner with senior stakeholders across projects in the Nature Services Business Unit. You will balance demand and capacity, drive data-informed resourcing, and enable teams to thrive while delivering excellent client service.

You will work across UK and India teams, influence project staffing, and support bids and new business opportunities.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in resource management, workforce planning or project resourcing.
• Strong ability to partner with managers and senior stakeholders.
• Excellent data accuracy and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Resource Planning & Optimisation across the Nature Services Business Unit.
• Monitor workload, utilisation and demand to ensure optimal deployment of talent.
• Support resource levelling across UK and India-based teams with employee development in mind.
• Deliver resource optimisation initiatives that support performance and client outcomes.
• Develop and improve resource management processes, tools and governance.
• Strategic Workforce Planning and providing insight on capability gaps and succession.
