Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a Warehouse & Logistics Director in West Sussex to provide strategic leadership for multiple warehouses, optimising goods-in, storage and dispatch. You will drive process consistency, supervise staff, and collaborate with stakeholders to enhance ERP/WMS functionality and reporting.

The role focuses on improving layout, stock control and KPI performance while ensuring safety and compliance across sites. A strong background in multi-site warehousing is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing warehouse operations across multiple sites.
• Strong knowledge of goods-in, stock control, picking, packing and dispatch processes.
• Experience with barcode scanning and ERP/WMS implementations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations across goods-in, storage, picking, packing and dispatch.
• Drive performance across multiple sites with consistent processes and clear standards.
• Lead and develop warehouse staff including workload planning and supervision.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimise ERP/WMS functionality and reporting.
• Improve layout, space utilisation and stock organisation to boost productivity.
• Maintain stock records with cycle counts and investigations to resolve discrepancies.
• Monitor KPIs such as stock accuracy, order fulfilment, dispatch performance and staff performance.
• Ensure health, safety and housekeeping standards are met.
