Job summary

Michael Page is supporting a Gloucestershire client to recruit an experienced Supply Manager who will own end-to-end demand planning, supply management and outsourced logistics relationships across the business. The role sits at the heart of the supply chain, collaborating with sales, finance and warehouse teams to ensure the right stock is in the right place at the right time.

You will manage 3PL/4PL partners, lead a team, run regular S&OP processes, monitor inventory, analyse data and present

Qualifications

• Proven experience in demand planning and supply management.
• Experience managing outsourced 3PL/4PL partners with scorecards.
• Experience running or contributing to S&OP process.
• Line management experience and developing junior staff.
• Strong stock and inventory management, including forecasting and replenishment.
• Numerically confident with COGS, invoices and cost data.
• Experience with international trade documentation desirable.
• Clear communication and solid organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end demand planning, supply management, and outsourced logistics relationships.
• Collaborate with sales, finance and warehouse partners to ensure stock is in the right place at the right time.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate stock availability to meet demand.
• Develop and implement supply chain strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Analyse supply chain data to identify improvements and implement changes.
• Prepare and present regular reports on supply chain performance to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and organisational policies.
