Job summary

MTrec Ltd is recruiting a Bid Lead for the Product Solutions team on a permanent basis in the United Kingdom. You will own opportunities from qualification through proposal submission and negotiation, coordinating technical and commercial inputs to deliver competitive, value-creating solutions for customers.

You will work closely with engineering, costings, project management, purchasing, manufacturing and QA, leading discussions with customers and guiding engineers to ensure high-quality

Qualifications

• Technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in bid management or related technical-commercial roles.
• Experience leading complex technical-commercial proposals.
• Strong customer-facing and cross-functional collaboration experience.
• Ability to review specifications, commercial terms and contractual clauses.
• Strong technical and commercial judgment.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Own opportunities from qualification through proposal submission and negotiation.
• Coordinate technical, commercial, and customer requirements to develop competitive solutions.
• Lead bid strategy, assess risks and opportunities, and manage inputs from teams.
• Interface with engineering, costing, project management, purchasing, manufacturing, and QA.
• Lead customer discussions during the bid phase and support negotiations.
• Contribute to knowledge sharing and development of Application Engineers and future talent.
