Job summary

Aureos seeks a Quantity Surveyor to join our Stockton on Tees office. You will support the commercial team to deliver profitable projects, manage costs, forecast income and produce reports to maximise margins.

Requirements include NEC experience, a degree or equivalent, and a driving licence. The role offers development opportunities within a collaborative, supportive team and a structured progression path.

Qualifications

• Degree educated or HND/HNC equivalent.
• NEC Experience.
• Working towards Professional Qualification.
• Driving license.
• Suitable post degree experience.
• Knowledge of and ability to interpret construction industry conditions of contract.
• Proficient in Microsoft packages (Excel).

Responsibilities

• Assist commercial team to ensure profitability, cash management, cost control and accurate reporting of all schemes.
• Input into application and credit control processes.
• Understand income forecast and pricing of variations; change control; project risk; CVRs; CTC; forecasting data; costing process; sub-contract management; documentation.
• Assist with weekly cost to complete/budget reviews with contract delivery teams and review site records and diaries.
• Attend project progress meetings and assist with monthly financial performance reports.
• Contribute to timely forecast turnover, profit and income, and production of internal/external reports and audits.
