Job summary

Aureos, a leading engineering services provider, is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to drive commercial performance across projects in the UK. You will work with contract delivery teams to ensure budgets, cash flow and risk management are tightly controlled and reported.

You will lead cost reviews, prepare financial reports, manage compensation events, variations and final accounts, and promote lean practices to maximise value and minimise waste.

Qualifications

• Adhere to group commercial policies and applicable legislation.
• Manage commercial performance against targets and KPIs.
• Promote continuous improvement and lean practices across teams.

Responsibilities

• Undertake cost to complete/budget reviews with contract delivery teams.
• Prepare draft/outline CTCs in collaboration with Project Managers.
• Maintain deadlines in line with the commercial calendar.
• Attend commercial review meetings and manage risk/variations.
• Provide accurate management information (cash flows, provisions, applications).
• Manage subcontract accounts from procurement to final account.
• Evaluate and assist with subcontractor claims for variations/compensation events.
• Final account negotiation and ensuring timely payments.
