Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services in the UK is seeking a Commercial Officer to drive commercial performance, align activities with strategy, and implement efficiency improvements across the business. You will oversee financial reporting, risk management, systems governance, and staff training to ensure profitable operational delivery.

The role involves collaboration with senior leadership and cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

Proven experience in an operational management role within the Fire and Security industry.
Excellent financial acumen and analytical ability.
Experience in process review, documentation, and implementation.
Ability to design and deliver staff training programs.
Strong understanding of internal systems and reporting processes.

Responsibilities

Align commercial activities with the company strategic objectives and translate strategy into actionable plans.
Lead the rollout of improved procedures and staff training to embed changes.
Oversee financial performance, stock management and catalogue accuracy to support sales.
Review internal systems and produce monthly performance reports for senior management.
Support contract mobilisation and change management across new and existing contracts.
