Job summary

Mitie is seeking an Operations Manager to lead the Strategic Accounts department in the UK. You will oversee day-to-day operations, ensure contractual compliance, and drive customer success across major accounts.

Qualifications

• Contracts management experience in construction or engineering.
• Sound commercial awareness and costing of projects and contracts.
• Experience in Fire, Security or Data Infrastructure.
• Extensive experience managing remote teams.
• Excellent people management and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of RAMS and subcontractors.
• Familiarity with NEC3/4 and JCT contract forms.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Strategic Accounts team to meet targets and KPIs.
• Maintain relationships with stakeholders across the business.
• Ensure contract delivery, compliance, and customer success.
• Oversee project delivery, programmes, and financial controls.
• Coordinate progress reviews with customers and internal teams.
• Promote health, safety and quality compliance across projects.
