Job summary

WSP is seeking a senior Capture Lead in the UK to drive winning bids and optimise value propositions across sectors. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, shape capture strategy with technical experts, and translate strategy into compelling bid deliverables.

As a senior role within our Strategic Bid Team, you will mentor colleagues, collaborate with Opportunity Directors, and champion best practice across WSP’s UK operations, leveraging APMP credentials and industry experience.

Qualifications

• APMP qualifications preferred and experience in capture planning best practice.
• Experience leading teams in a matrix environment and in bid lifecycle management.
• Strong client engagement and solution development experience in professional services.
• Familiarity with procurement methodologies and translating strategy into bid deliverables.
• Excellent communication and workshop facilitation skills with senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead capture planning within a centralised strategic bidding team for high-value bids across sectors.
• Collaborate with prospect directors, leadership, bid colleagues and commercial teams to develop differentiating offers.
• Train and coach bid colleagues and technical leaders on capture processes.
• Capture lessons learnt and share best practices across operations and teams.
• Contribute to the Strategic Bid Team's evolution and AI integration journey.
