Job summary
National Grid is seeking a seasoned Business & Digital Transformation Manager to join the newly formed Transformation Office at NGED. You will shape and drive the delivery of digital and technology activities across transformation programmes, providing senior leaders with clear progress, milestones, dependencies and risks to support governance and decision-making.
You will work with senior stakeholders and IT&D teams to ensure digital priorities align to transformation outcomes and business
Qualifications
- Experience in business transformation with strong IT&D components, including developing roadmaps and complex programme management.
- Ability to identify areas to add value, structure work needed and proactively deliver.
- Ability to take full ownership and drive delivery of planned results, removing roadblocks.
- Ability to manage complex projects/programmes across wide range of stakeholders and extended teams.
- Ability to identify risks, issues and dependencies and work with teams to mitigate.
Responsibilities
- Drive progress with business areas and IT&D to ensure visibility of deliverables in Transformation Programme.
- Ensure business owners prioritise digital initiatives within Transformation programmes and NGED.
- Maintain transformation roadmaps and visibility of IT&D dependencies and risks.
- Define measures, targets and KPIs to enable benefits realisation and reporting.
- Work with senior stakeholders to align digital activity with business objectives.
- Support adoption of agile delivery practices and product ownership strategies across NGED.
