National Grid Electricity Distribution (NGED) is seeking a Business & Digital Transformation Manager to join the Transformation Office. You will shape and drive digital and technology activity across NGED’s transformation programmes and wider priorities.

Reporting to the Head of Transformation, you’ll provide senior leaders with clear progress, milestones, dependencies and risks, enabling strong governance and informed decision-making.

Qualifications

• Experience in business transformation with IT&D components.
• Able to identify areas to add value, structure work needed and proactively deliver.
• Demonstrates ownership and the ability to drive delivery, remove roadblocks.
• Manages complex projects across wide range of stakeholders and teams.
• Proactively identifies risks, issues and dependencies and mitigations.

Responsabilités

• Drive progress and ensure visibility of IT&D deliverables in the Transformation Programme and meet business needs.
• Ensure business owners prioritise digital work within Transformation programmes and NGED.
• Clarify and reflect digital progress, dependencies and risks in governance reporting.
• Maintain prioritized IT&D backlogs aligned to Transformation outcomes and business deliverables.
• Create and maintain transformation roadmaps and identify risks with mitigation plans.
• Define and track measures, targets and KPIs for benefits realisation.
• Align digital/technology activity with business objectives.
• Support adoption of agile delivery and product ownership aligned with KPIs.
• Provide robust challenge to pace and scale of digital delivery with clear reporting.
