Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems seeks a Business Development Manager to grow the Machine Protection business across the UK. The role is remote within the UK with occasional travel to the Rotherham office, reporting into the Sales, Marketing & Product Management function.

You will drive specifications and opportunities, build integrator relationships, and ensure CRM and market data are up to date, while delivering against the UK sales plan and KPIs.

Qualifications

• Background in machine protection and/or safety automation.
• Strong numerical skills for cost calculations, pricing, and analysis.
• Proven sales-driven, customer-focused experience with strong communication.
• Self-motivated team player capable of working independently.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM, and project coordination; able to create presentations and analyze specifications.

Responsibilities

• Increase machine protection door specifications, orders, and profitability.
• Identify and develop quality project opportunities; share insights across divisions.
• Build strong relationships with integrators and line builders to drive growth.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, project docs, and market intelligence.
• Boost brand awareness through targeted marketing and achieve KPIs.
