Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems is seeking a Business Development Manager to cover the UK, driving the Machine Protection and Safety Automation agenda with partners, integrators and customers, aligned to the UK sales plan and commission schedules.

This remote UK role requires travel across the country, including occasional visits to the Rotherham office. You will build opportunities, manage CRM, and deliver against sales KPIs with a proactive, customer-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and background in machine protection and/or safety automation.
• Excellent numerical skills for cost calculations, pricing assessments, and data analysis.
• Proven experience in a sales-driven, customer-focused environment with strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Self-motivated team player with a proactive mindset, able to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and project coordination, with the ability to create presentations and analyse specifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop the Machine Protection Door business within the UK and align with the UK Sales Strategy.
• Identify and develop quality project opportunities while sharing insights across ASSA ABLOY.
• Build strong relationships with Integrators and Line Builders to drive growth.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, project documentation, and market intelligence.
• Boost brand awareness through targeted marketing campaigns and meet/exceed sales KPIs.
