Job summary

ASSA ABLOY is seeking a Product Manager to own requirements for projects, acting as the voice of customers throughout the product lifecycle. You will collaborate with several departments under the Senior Product Manager (KAM Software) to drive growth.

This role is mostly remote within the UK, offering opportunities to work with cross-functional teams on software and hardware products and contribute to successful launches and market adoption.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in product management.
• Experience with software products; hardware exposure or AI-assisted tools is a plus.
• Ability to build relationships and communicate with stakeholders.
• Strong prioritization to focus on key issues at the right time.
• Collaborative, proactive problem-solver.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Own development of requirements for NPI/CPI projects under Senior Product Manager guidance; manage gateway stages from initiation to launch and assess post-launch performance.
• Maintain alignment with regional stakeholders; communicate changes promptly; build trusted relationships to gain confidence.
• Collaborate with product owners and R&D to balance cost, quality and speed; backlogs prioritized by value, impact and feasibility.
• Advocate for the customer across the lifecycle; coordinate with marketing, sales and customer success for launches and adoption.
• Ensure alignment with operations; communicate progress to stakeholders and leadership to maintain momentum.
