Job summary

Culina is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to drive growth in our Contract Logistics division. You will prospect for new clients, manage relationships with key stakeholders, and lead the development of proposals that align with our growth strategy.

Reporting to the Head of Sales, you will expand existing contracts and pursue new business opportunities across sites in the North and Midlands, with travel as needed. Strong negotiator and strategic thinker needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Business Development role within the Third Party Logistics sector.
• Proven track record as a hunter of new prospects.
• Experienced with senior management and board-level stakeholders.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Active hunting for new prospects and securing new business.
• Identify potential clients and decision makers; build relationships.
• Present proposals to clients with the wider team.
• Attend industry events to gather market insights.
• Collaborate with senior management to develop new services.
• Produce boards-ready reports and forecasts.
• Monitor industry developments to refine propositions.
