Job summary

Culina Group Limited seeks a Head of Solutions Development to bridge commercial challenges with innovative transport solutions. You will lead tender activities, guide design teams, and translate business needs into scalable, commercially viable offerings.

The role requires strong leadership, industry awareness, and the ability to collaborate with senior stakeholders to deliver impact across transport operations.

Qualifications

• Successful track record in a logistics solutions design role with commercial accountability.
• Ability to lead a tender and business development process.
• In-depth knowledge of transport operations, fleet management and multimodal transport systems.
• Business acumen: knowledge of processes, product lifecycles, markets and regulatory considerations.
• Awareness of emerging technologies, cloud computing, AI integration, and cybersecurity.
• Understanding of commercial logistics rates and profit & loss.
• Confident communicating with Senior Management up to Board Level.
• Capable of representing the company and customer.
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Experience with simulation tools is advantageous (CLASS, CAST, Paragon).

Responsibilities

• Act as a technical lead on business development, winning proposals through compelling presentations and innovative solutions.
• Challenge the status quo and drive business value by leveraging industry trends and technologies.
• Collaborate with partners to write solution design documents and tender responses.
• Create project timelines, milestones, and communication plans with stakeholders.
• Apply agile and design thinking to drive innovation and manage projects.
• Analyse data to design strategies for operational efficiency.
• Lead design and implementation of solutions from vision through to operations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry developments through professional bodies and training.
