Job summary

Culina is seeking the Head of Business Development Excellence to drive a group-wide approach to BD, lead standardised processes, market intelligence, and capability building across the organisation.

You will champion capability development, lead bid management for large tenders, and shape pricing, segmentation and governance to enable sustainable growth. This is a senior leadership role requiring deep sales process knowledge and UK logistics familiarity.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a senior commercial/sales role, ideally in supply chain.
• Deep understanding of end-to-end sales processes and bid management for RFI/RFQ tenders.
• Strong analytical and research capability.
• Excellent project and programme management skills supporting the bid process.
• Familiarity with the UK logistics market.

Responsibilities

• Develop and standardise BD enablement materials and templates.
• Lead knowledge base and standard methodologies across Culina BD teams.
• Design training programmes to build selling capability.
• Oversee industry trend analysis and customer insights to steer BD priorities.
• Define segmentation frameworks and pricing guidelines for pipelines.
• Lead bid management team for large-scale tenders and ensure quality RFIs/RFQs.
