Great Bear, part of the Culina Group, is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth in the warehousing and distribution sector. You will prospect for new clients, manage contracts, and work with senior management to shape our growth strategy.

Based across North and Midlands sites with travel as needed, you will present proposals, build relationships with decision makers, and help us win new business while upholding our service standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Business Development role within the Third Party Logistics sector.
• Proven hunter of new prospects and deals.
• Experience engaging with senior management and board level.
• Proficient in writing proposals and tender documents.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Prospect for new clients through networking and targeted outreach.
• Secure new business aligned with growth plan.
• Identify decision makers and build trusted relationships.
• Present proposals to clients with input from cross-functional teams.
• Develop industry insights to refine propositions.
• Prepare reports for Board and Senior Management.
• Forecast and budget with other business areas.
