Job summary

Galliford Try in Leicester is seeking a Bid Manager to lead strategically important bids for projects and frameworks. You will own bid strategy, coordinate bid teams and engage with clients and design teams to secure opportunities.

The role requires strong written English, experience in construction bids, and willingness to travel across the UK as needed. You will report to the Pre-construction/Bid leadership and contribute to governance and risk management.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualified with construction or related field.
• Excellent written English and communication skills.
• Experience delivering bids for construction projects or frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategically important bids and bid teams.
• Own bid strategy, win themes, and bid programme development.
• Coordinate deliverables and client/design-team engagement.
• Analyse PQQ and Tender documents and allocate resources.
• Lead tender review meetings and report progress to Directors.
• Input into planning, programming and construction methodologies.
• Deliver high-quality bids aligned to client requirements.
• Support governance and bid evaluation with senior leadership.
