Zusammenfassung

Siemens Mobility is seeking an Estimator to join the Bids and Tendering team within Rail Infrastructure. Based in Ashby, York, Manchester or Chippenham, you will coordinate multidisciplinary inputs for bids and prepare estimates for smaller contracts and variations.

This safety-critical role requires reviewing data, ensuring accuracy, and delivering well-prepared bids. Travel between offices may be required, with a focus on cost accuracy and competitiveness.

Qualifikationen

• Understanding of engineering activities and methodologies.
• Financial and commercial awareness with a customer focus.
• Ability to work independently under pressure.
• Strong Excel and Word skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork across bid, delivery, commercial, procurement, planning and finance teams.
• Experience with estimating; flexibility to travel between offices and irregular hours.

Aufgaben

• Take ownership of allocated estimates and determine the structure of the estimate.
• Enter data into Benchmark or Tender Template and ensure consistency and accuracy.
