Job summary

Siemens Mobility is seeking an Estimator to join the Bids and Tendering team within the Communication and Information Systems unit of Rail Infrastructure. The role can be based in Ashby, York, Manchester or Chippenham, reporting to the Estimating Manager.

The role involves coordinating multidisciplinary inputs, preparing estimates for bids and variations, and ensuring data accuracy in Benchmark and Tender Templates.

Qualifications

• Experience in preparing bids and estimates for contracts.
• Knowledge of estimating processes and cost analysis.
• Ability to coordinate inputs from multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare estimates for bids and variations.
• Coordinate estimates from cost disciplines across offices.
• Ensure accuracy and consistency of tender data.
• Input data into Benchmark or Tender Template and check for errors.
• Support project managers and bid managers on larger bids.
